This year, the Ukrainian Art Song Summer Institute is excited to announce that in addition to 8 spaces for vocal participants, we have 2 spaces for collaborative pianists to work alongside faculty members.  This addition allows vocalists and collaborative pianists to explore Ukrainian art songs' rich style and context and its classical composers. This summer's dates in the Czech Republic are June 17th to July 17th. Members of our 2023 Opera Academy will perform an abridged, fully staged version of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in Tabor, Czech Republic. Performance with string quartet and piano, featuring innovative staging by director Gayle Shay from Vanderbilt University. Academy members will also serve in the ensemble for Estates Theatre productions.
