Utah Opera Resident Artist Program - Application Deadline Friday, October 28! Utah Opera's Resident Artist Program for singers and pianists provides an integral step between graduate studies and a career. Participants spend nine months on a paid residency with Utah Opera developing professional skills through mainstage performances with Utah Opera and Utah Symphony, coachings, workshops, yoga, and masterclass sessions. Resident Artists also travel throughout the state to perform in-school presentations and teach students about the art of opera. The programme looks to bridge the gap for young artists between study and professional life. Young artists from all over the world are welcome to apply through our online audition platform Acceptd. The Britten–Pears Young Artist Programme was founded over 40 years ago by Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears to provide high-level performance training for the world’s best emerging professional musicians. Residential projects and masterclasses take place throughout the year in the beautiful surroundings of the Suffolk coast where Britten lived and worked. There are no course fees charged to BPYAP participants.
