The Jensen Foundation supports America’s most promising young opera professionals with its annual Vocal Competition. Singers compete for their share of $50,000 in awards this year, including a $15,000 First Place award and the $10,000 Facing Forward Award, in honor of the Jensen Competition’s 25th Anniversary. The 2025 competition takes place in New York City May 12-17. The singing environment is well-organized and supportive, with professional accompanists and judges.
