DRAMATIC VOICES IN THE NYC AREA - MASTERCLASSES LEADING TO A PROFESSIONAL HD VIDEO RECORDING. Studio Lirico NYC will produce a Masterclass Series for six participants with internationally renowned soprano Elizabeth Blancke-Biggs and Mo. Michael Recchiuti. The course will consist of four intensive two hour coaching classes on every aspect of preparing and recording your audition arias, classes to be held at the AMDA Studios in NYC leading toward a professionally recorded high definition recital performance session at the state of the art NV Factory Recording Studio in Englewood, NJ. Within two days of the recording singers will receive high definition video recordings of their performances usable for all applications and competitions.

Deadline Extended – Si parla, si canta! 2026: Italian Opera Immersion + Teatro alla Scala The application deadline for the SPSC Summer Program 2026 has been extended to March 31. With an unrivaled faculty largely based in Europe, SPSC offers singers an authentic immersion in the Italian operatic tradition through voice lessons, coachings, Italian language and diction classes, concerts, and cultural excursions. The program takes place in Arona (Lake Maggiore), Italy, and the 2026 edition will include the opportunity to attend an orchestra rehearsal and a performance of Lucia di Lammermoor at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Two Wilkinson Young Singers Awards — a First Prize of $5,000 and a Second Prize of $1,000 — are awarded annually. Additionally, two first-prize winners collaborate on a joint recital sponsored by Wilkinson Young Singers Fund (WYSF). Since 2015, the Greve Opera Academy & Festival (a four‑week residency) has offered singers the opportunity to perform roles in fully staged productions with a professional orchestra. The 2026 edition will feature a full production of Le nozze di Figaro and additional concerts. Developed and led by an internationally acclaimed faculty, the Academy includes daily voice lessons, staging sessions, Italian language instruction, and more. Performances will take place in Greve‑in‑Chianti, Figline Valdarno, Empoli, Florence, and possibly other locations. Greve Opera Academy offers selected participants future performance opportunities with the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra and Virtuosi OPERA PROJECT.
The International Vocal Artists Academy of Payerbach (IVAAP) is an immersive program of study and performance for classical singers, where world-renowned masters of vocal technique, Maestri Olga Toporkova and Vladimir Chernov help artists nourish their dreams and catalyze their potential. IVAAP’s intensive training makes use of a concrete scheme of exercises within each artistic faculty. Vocal lessons use the principles of healthy Bel Canto technique, starting with breathing exercises and moving on to exercises that work to achieve a singer’s maximum resonance. This program creates a bridge between today's world and the most valuable concepts of Bel Canto technique for a healthy, beautiful voice.
