The competition has become international in scope, well-known in the music world, and is the only major competition to focus exclusively on oratorio singing. $22,000 in cash prizes. The Manhattan Opera Studio is holding auditions for the 2026 Summer Festival. The MOS Summer Festival is the first Summer Program of its kind in Manhattan. The Summer Festival is an intensive training and performance preparation program in which all the selected singers will have the opportunity to perform a fully staged opera with an orchestra. In addition, all singers will participate in an aria and opera scenes concert in the prestigious Bruno Walter Hall at Lincoln Center.
