QSVI experience: Opera Division 2027!

2027 Queens Summer Vocal Institute: NOW IN OUR 20TH SEASON

An 18-day intensive vocal and operatic training program for college students and recent graduates seeking to further develop their craft.

Singers will be cast in our staged and costumed productions of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, sung in Italian with an orchestral ensemble, and Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, sung in English with an orchestral ensemble, as well as a fully staged Musical Theater Revue.

Singers will also receive voice lessons and coachings and participate in masterclasses with industry professionals and management representatives. Through individual and group instruction, this select group of singers will strengthen their operatic performance skills and connect with seasoned professionals.
