Opera Caledonia Vocal Studio Course 29th June - 7th July 2026 An intensive vocal studio course providing the opportunity for a small group of singers and répétiteurs performing at conservatoire level or beyond to work with leading professionals from the opera industry–taking place amidst the Victorian splendour of the Edinburgh Society of Musicians. Faculty includes: David Gowland (Royal Opera House), Darrell Babidge (The Metropolitan Opera), Amanda Roocroft (soprano), David Cowan (Opera North), Judith Howarth (soprano), Derek Clark (Scottish Opera), Susannah Wapshott (Scottish Opera). The Manhattan Opera Studio is holding auditions for the 2026 Summer Festival. The MOS Summer Festival is the first Summer Program of its kind in Manhattan. The Summer Festival is an intensive training and performance preparation program in which all the selected singers will have the opportunity to perform a fully staged opera with an orchestra. In addition, all singers will participate in an aria and opera scenes concert in the prestigious Bruno Walter Hall at Lincoln Center. There will be masterclasses with some of the most renowned opera agents of New York City, feedback auditions with conductors of the Metropolitan Opera House, and coachings in music and diction.
