Miami Wagner Institute live audition application deadline is 2 days away on November 29th! TUITION-FREE PROGRAM! The Miami Wagner Institute is an elite young artist program and the first of its kind specifically for Wagnerian dramatic and lyric-in- transition singers. The Institute provides training as well as professional-level performance opportunities that prepare singers for the unique demands of the Wagnerian and dramatic repertoire. During this intensive program, participants prepare and perform with faculty in a staged and costumed Wagnerian production with orchestra, while undertaking a curriculum of voice instruction, coachings, and masterclasses. Faculty of the Miami Wagner Institute include Christine Goerke, Alan Held, Robert Morrison and Michael Rossi.

a bachelor of music in voice. The course focuses on the integration of singing and acting. Therefore, great technical mastery of the vocal instrument is essential.

Now in our 11th year, Lyric Opera Studio Weimar is a comprehensive opera training program for emerging professional singers considering a career in Europe, with a focus on the German theater system. Participants will sing a full role in Le Nozze di Figaro with chamber orchestra. We offer intensive training in singing, movement, rehearsal process and role study, master classes, individual lessons, stagecraft instruction, and daily German language training. Audition for the Young Professional Artists Program in New York, Pittsburgh, and Boston! Repertoire: La bohème | Puccini; Arabella | R. Strauss; Rhinegold | Wagner and smaller events such as a Kurt & Cole cabaret, Wagner scenes, and a workshop of our new opera project, Fight for the Right. Introducing The Mastersinger Project for Young Dramatic Voices. Internationally-acclaimed dramatic soprano Jane Eaglen be leading a this special program for the next four years, working closely with those singers performing and covering roles in the Ring operas and Strauss works. The Glyndebourne Opera Cup - a new international competition for opera singers. Deadline for applications: 24 November. The Glyndebourne Opera Cup aims to discover and spotlight the best young singers from around the world. The inaugural competition will focus on Mozart and is open to singers aged between 21 and 28 who are in the early stages of their professional career and ready to perform on the opera stage. The top prize is £15,000 plus a guaranteed role at one of the international opera houses represented on the jury. The competition will be broadcast on Sky Arts as part of a dedicated TV series.
