Finger Lakes Opera is now accepting applications for our Young Artist Program for the summer of 2019. FLO Young Artist program is intended for singers who demonstrate outstanding potential and who are seeking professional level training and performance experience. Performance opportunities include opera scenes program, children’s opera, and “Opera HITS!” with the FLO Orchestra featuring arias, duets and Broadway favorites. In addition, FLO Young Artists will be cast as comprimario and cover roles in our main stage performance of La Bohème. We will be holding live auditions in NYC and in Rochester, NY. There is also an option to audition by recording. Scholarships available. The deadline for accepting applications has been extended to January 7.
Teatro dell’Opera di Roma opens applications for the third edition of "Fabbrica" Young Artist Program: an innovative training program for key professionals involved in the making of opera productions (singers, répétiteurs, directors, set designers, costume designers and lighting designers). The next course will start in January 2020. The deadline for submitting applications is January 15th, 2019 for Singers and Répétiteurs and May 31st, 2019 for the Creative Team. In its 66th year, the Washington International Competition for Voice supports outstanding young singers between 18 and 32 by providing financial awards and performance opportunities to the winners. Located in Washington DC, the finals will take place on stage at the renowned Kennedy Center in the Terrace Theater on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Piper Anselmi Artists Management - Emerging Artists Division: Piper Anselmi Artists Management is one of the premiere artist management firms in the world today. We are specifically looking for a select group of talented young singers, who have recently completed their musical training. Selected singers will occupy a special division on the Piper Anselmi roster, specifically designed to further develop and present young talent at a professional level.
