World-renowned singers, Michelle DeYoung, Paul Groves, actor Dietlinde Turban Maazel, are joined by Carol Vaness, Julian Garvue, world percussion artist Tom Teasley, and guest advisors Susan Graham, Bryn Terfel, among others. ViP is merit-based and tuition-free. Shared houses and meals at Castleton farms provide full immersion and focus. No age restrictions. Program Dates: JAN 05-17, 2026. Madison Avenue Baptist Church is accepting applications for its 2025/26 Emerging Artists Fellowship, a tuition-free, yearlong program for aspiring vocalists.  Eight singers will be selected to receive weekly coaching, a monthly stipend, and opportunities to perform in opera scenes, sacred choral works, art song, and musical theater.  Performances include two showcases of Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta, holiday services, and a recital.  Fellows must be 21+ and submit a video recording of two contrasting vocal works, resume and brief biography.
