The search for European Auditions just got easier with our new advanced search option.

In addition to being the Director of Opera Saratoga's Young Artist Program, Laurie Rogers is an incredibly accomplished pianist with a great deal of audition room experience both on the other side of the table and at the keyboard. Laurie gave us a candid "dos and don't's" rundown for the audition room that you (and your pianist) won't want to miss. Opera Saratoga's application is due October 15; applications can be submitted through YAP Tracker.

We are very pleased to be hosting the Brava! Opera Theater and James M. Collier Young Artist Program Vocal Competition application for 2013. Prizes total $5,000 with auditions in San Francisco, CA and Ashland, OR. The deadline is December 7.

We're excited to announce COSI 2013's application is up. Live auditions will be held throughout Canada and by recording. Deadlines from October 12!

Sugar Creek Symphony and Song will be processing applications for the Danis Wilson Apprentice Artist Program through YAP Tracker again this season. Auditions will be held in Chicago and New York, with a November 9 deadline. Apply early!

Clare Burovac, Portland Opera's Director of Artistic Operations, generously agreed to give us her insider view on what can help singers stand out on paper and in the audition room. Portland Opera's deadline to apply is Monday, September 24th; applications can be submitted through YAP Tracker.

Opera Theater Summerfest (Opera Theater of Pittsburgh)'s Mildred Miller International Voice Competition and Young Artist Programs applications are up! The YAPs are for programs in Pittsburgh and in France, and the top prize for the competition includes $5,000, plus an optional $2,500 contract for the 2013 Opera Theater SummerFest, and a guaranteed place in the Resident Artists Program. Deadlines are October 1st for the competition and October 31st for the YAPs.
