In 2019, Prague Summer Nights Festival will return to the historic Estates Theater with fully-staged productions of Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Le nozze di Figaro. Performances will be given with orchestra on the famous Josef Svoboda sets, and will feature professional costumes from the Czech National Opera. Singers will participate in an opera scenes program, featuring scenes from Czech operas by Dvořák, Smetana and Janáček, and will sing in a cabaret at a famous Prague jazz club. In addition to preparing the opera, singers will have coachings, lessons and masterclasses with PSN faculty and visiting guest clinicians. Finger Lakes Opera is now accepting applications for our Young Artist Program for the summer of 2019. FLO Young Artist program is intended for singers who demonstrate outstanding potential and who are seeking professional level training and performance experience.
