Two Wilkinson Young Singers Awards — a first prize of $5,000 and an encouragement award of $1,000 — are awarded annually. Additionally, two first-prize winners will collaborate on a joint recital sponsored by WYSF. The recitals are held biennially in the Boston area (https://www.wilkinsonfund.org/events).  The application process is open to all singers between the ages of 20 - 30 who reside in the Boston area and are striving to make a career in music. Since 2025, GREVE OPERA ACADEMY (4-week residency) offers the opportunity to study & perform roles in staged productions with a professional orchestra. The 2025 edition will feature a full production of a double-bill of PAGLIACCI & GIANNI SCHICCHI, and other concerts. The Academy, developed & offered by internationally acclaimed faculty, includes daily voice lessons, staging sessions, masterclasses & Italian language classes. Performances will take place in Greve, Figline Valdarno, Empoli, Florence, & possibly other locations. Designed to be a career accelerator, Greve Opera Academy offers to selected participants performances with the Teatro Lirico D'Europa and, if chosen, opportunities with the renowned Vienna-Tel Aviv Opera Connection.
