2016/17 Barbara and Halsey Sandford Studio Artist Program Application: SINGERS

Kentucky Opera is auditioning for the 2016/2017 Studio Artist Program. Studio Artists participate in maingstage productions covering roles, performing comprimario roles, and singing in the chorus. Studio Artists participte in masterclasses with guest artists, the Composer Workshop, perform principal roles in a semi-staged touring production, and perform outreach events and educational programs. Repertoire for the 2016/2017 season includes Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, Mozart’s Abduction from Seraglio and Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado.

All repertoire is subject to change.

The program runs late August through mid-November 2016, returning in January through mid-February, depending on the schedule.
