Norwegian National Opera & Ballet's Wilhelmsen Opera Studio for Young Singers: apply now!

CALL FOR AUDITIONS to The Wilhelmsen Opera Studio for Young Singers (WOYS) at The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet  

WOYS is now open for applications for singers not older than 32 years (pr 1st August 2026) who have recently completed their opera education and are on the threshold of a professional career.

Every second year, WOYS recruits 4–6 singers who become full-time salaried employees with the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet for two seasons.

The programme is run by the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in collaboration with Talent Norway and Shipowner Tom Wilhelmsen’s Foundation, and is artistically managed by Opera Director Randi Stene.
