The Verbier Festival Academy’s Atelier Lyrique 2027: applications now open!

The Verbier Festival Academy’s Atelier Lyrique invites applications for its 2027 edition, offering three intensive weeks of opera and song training at the heart of the Verbier Festival. This year, with a particular focus on German repertoire, the Atelier will centre on Wagner’s Das Rheingold and German Lied, alongside masterclasses, individual coaching, stagecraft and performance opportunities. Selected singers may also appear in the Festival’s Mainstage production of Richard Strauss’s Salome. Applications close 15 October 2026.
