PRAGUE SUMMER NIGHTS: Young Artists Music Festival invites aspiring opera professionals to perform fully staged operas in the Estates Theatre—one of the world’s most historic and revered opera houses, being the last opera house in existence where Mozart worked, even premiering Don Giovanni here himself in 1787.
Over 30 immersive days in bohemian Tábor and beautiful Prague, participants receive individual and group coaching, voice lessons, and acting and movement classes from distinguished faculty from institutions such as Juilliard, NEC, Peabody, University of Denver, Oberlin, University of Michigan, Northwestern University and other leading institutions.
The 2027 season culminates in professionally and staged and costumed productions of Mozart's The Magic Flute and The Marriage of Figaro in the Estates Theatre, accompanied by the full Prague Summer Nights Orchestra.
Each opera is professionally photographed and filmed in high-definition, with materials provided to participants after the festival.
