POVAI 2026: Sing Elisir with Orchestra - World-Class Faculty

Join the 7th Edition of the Premiere Opera Vocal Arts Institute (POVAI) in Trani, Italy: July 20–August 8, 2026

Set in the stunning coastal town of Trani in the Puglia region of southern Italy, POVAI is a premier three-week opera training and career development program offering transformative vocal instruction, strategic mentorship, and performance opportunities with orchestra.

World-Class Faculty Includes:

• John Fisher – Legendary vocal coach & global operatic authority (Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Teatro La Fenice, Deutsche Grammophon)
• Arthur Levy – Renowned voice teacher (Mannes School of Music, acclaimed New York City studio; teacher of many of today’s leading artists)
• Capucine Chiaudani – Renowned voice teacher (Kalaidos University, Liceu Conservatory, Swiss Opernstudio, Frankfurt University of Music)
• Luisella Germano – Renowned vocal coach (Vienna State Opera, Berlin Staatsoper, University of Music & Performing Arts Vienna)

Additional faculty includes distinguished stage directors, conductors, coaches, and industry leaders from major opera houses and conservatories.

Key Highlights:

• Perform with Orchestra: Full-program singers will be cast in L'Elisir d'Amore with orchestra. Scenes from La Traviata, Rigoletto, Don Giovanni and more will also be presented.
• Individualized Training: Daily lessons, coachings, dramatic interpretation, Italian diction, and audition preparation.
• Career Development: Masterclasses, seminars, and auditions with artist managers, casting directors, and conservatory faculty.
• Professional Media: HD video recordings of performances for personal use.
