This selective, intensive residency is designed for emerging professional singers ready to take the next step in their careers. Resident Artists perform substantial roles in a dynamic season featuring Dido and Aeneas, Trouble in Tahiti, Speed Dating Tonight!, The Messiah, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, I Pagliacci, and one act operas by Menotti and Barber, along with additional performance opportunities.

Perform with orchestra under the direction of Opera Naples Artistic and Music Director Ramón Tebar, receive regular coachings on production roles and standard repertoire, and develop the versatility, discipline, preparation, and performance skills required of a professional opera singer. The residency is demanding by design and is best suited to singers who are prepared to work at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
