Full tuition scholarship program: Nashville Bel Canto Foundation’s Scenes Intensive 2026

Spend two weeks in Nashville this May immersed in bel canto style, dramatic truth, and confident Italian.

The Nashville Bel Canto Foundation’s Bel Canto Opera Scenes Intensive is a full-tuition scholarship program for emerging opera singers.

The Bel Canto Opera Scenes Intensive is designed for singers committed to artistic and technical growth. Our program focuses on authentic Italian delivery, diction clarity, dramatic connection, and musical style through daily coachings, language work, and staging rehearsals. The atmosphere is rigorous yet warm, encouraging exploration, confidence, and collaboration.

Participants will work closely with an experienced faculty of coaches and artists who have worked with leading institutions such as Juilliard, the Curtis Institute, the Metropolitan Opera, Opera Lucca, Sarasota Opera, and the Orfeo Festival. Singers will receive individualized attention, coaching that supports their unique voice, and guidance in developing character, text, and musical intention.
