The 2026 Manhattan Opera Studio Summer Festival: apply today!

The Manhattan Opera Studio is holding auditions for the 2026 Summer Festival.

The MOS Summer Festival is the first Summer Program of its kind in Manhattan. The Summer Festival is an intensive training and performance preparation program in which all the selected singers will have the opportunity to perform a fully staged opera with an orchestra. In addition, all singers will participate in an aria and opera scenes concert in the prestigious Bruno Walter Hall at Lincoln Center. There will be masterclasses with some of the most renowned opera agents of New York City, feedback auditions with conductors of the Metropolitan Opera House, and coachings in music and diction.

Candidates for the 2026 MOS Summer Festival should send a headshot and a resume to coordinator@manhattanoperastudio.org and submit the non-refundable application fee. Please indicate what roles and operas you are applying for. If an applicant is not given an opportunity to audition, MOS will reimburse the application fee.

Age limit: 37 years old  

The MOS summer festival is open to singers of all nationalities.

Applicants who cannot come to New York City for a live audition will be requested to send two videos of two contrasting arias.
