The Eurasia Festival Virtual Opera Institute 2020: deadline May 29

Eurasia Festival's 2020 Virtual Summer Opera Institute celebrates 180 years of Tchaikovsky.
 
The Eurasia Festival Virtual Opera Institute will offer singers from all over the world a unique opportunity to study roles from Tchaikovsky’s operas.
 
Auditions are NOT required. Please submit a form of interest.
 
The study program includes:
 
·Group diction classes via Zoom
·Individual coachings via Zoom (Please note: All piano accompaniment will be pre-recorded and sent to singers for use during coachings)
·Total Fee: $500 per session (4 weeks)
·Optional: Post COVID-19, run through your role with Maestro Sydykov at Eurasia Cultural Center in NYC. This option is good through May 2021 and is contingent on health and travel regulations.
  
The EF's Opera Institute is curated and taught by the festival’s founder and artistic director, internationally acclaimed pianist, vocal coach and conductor Aza Sydykov. A graduate of Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Conservatory and New York’s Mannes School of Music, Maestro Sydykov serves as President of the Kyrgyz American Foundation in New York City, which sponsors the Eurasia Cultural Center and the Eurasia Festival as well as various cultural exchange and educational programs.  He is also the co-founder and Artistic Director of the Wilmington Music Festival in North Carolina.  He has collaborated with numerous world-renowned artists and teachers, including Placido Domingo, Christine Weidinger, Joyce DiDonato, Zurab Sotkilava, Mikhail Svetlov, Arthur Levy, Trish McCaffrey, Mark Schnaible, Beth Roberts, and Robert White.
