SING THE NORTH Summer Choral Festival: THE CONSORT PROJECT 2026!

World-leading soprano Andrea Haines, formerly of Voces8, and Daniel Taylor, Director of the Toronto Consort and Trinity Choir, invite advanced singers with a passion for choral singing to THE CONSORT PROJECT: a 5-day intensive in the rare art of consort singing, July 29-Aug 2 in Victoria, BC, CANADA. 

Singing students, graduates, & professional musicians are invited to apply to join this course dedicated to the study and performance of choral music written to be sung by small groups. Repertoire will feature early Renaissance vocal music paired with music from today.

The project culminates in a final public concert, performed with Andrea Haines and Daniel Taylor, celebrating this magnificent repertoire.
