New York Deadline 9/10: Chautauqua Opera Company 2019

Deadline Approaching! Apply by September 10 for auditions in New York City.

Chautauqua Opera Company is now accepting applications for its 2019 Young Artist Program. 2019 mainstage repertoire will include Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia, directed by Kathleen Smith Belcher, ¡Figaro! (90210), Vid Guerrerio's adaptation of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, directed by Eric Einhorn, and The Ghosts of Versailles by John Corigliano and William Hoffman, directed by Peter Kazaras. Chautauqua Opera Young Artists sing and/or cover leading and supporting roles in mainstage productions alongside leading professionals in the field, and are featured in over 30 unique events each season, including concerts with the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, recitals, opera for young audiences, community engagement events, and more.
