Deadline February 15! Boston Conservatory Opera Intensive at Valencia 2017

For three weeks next summer, aspiring young opera singers from around the world will come together to participate in a unique program that offers talented singers the opportunity to hone their technical skills with world-class faculty, gain valuable performance experience in a variety of settings, and learn how to build and maintain a career in opera: Boston Conservatory Opera Intensive at Valencia.

One of the unique features of the program is that participants have access to Berklee's state-of-the-art recording studios. Each participant will be able to record a limited number of arias/songs for their use in applications for graduate schools or young artist programs. Berklee’s engineers will master the recordings, and the selections will be coached and accompanied by our music staff.

Summer Program Faculty:
Johnathon Pape, program director
Andrew Altenbach, music director/conductor
Jean Anderson Collier, principal coach
Rebecca Folsom, voice teacher
Kathryn Madeline Wright, voice teacher
Cara Barbera, movement instructor
James Myers, coach/pianist

Boston Conservatory at Berklee is recognized for having one of the best voice/opera programs in the country. With a nurturing community of teachers and peers, and a forward-thinking curriculum that is continually evolving, our voice and opera programs will help you grow as a professional singer and as a whole artist for the 21st-century stage.
