Opera and Song in Oregon's Wine Country: Aquilon Music Festival 2021

Aquilon Music Festival, located in picturesque Oregon wine country, is now accepting applications for our Summer 2021 season. This year, Aquilon Music Festival will pre-premiere OURLAND, a new opera recently composed by Paul Davies with libretto by Daniel Helfgot. OURLAND is set in a dystopian state, and its plot centers on intolerance towards the ‘other’, the foreigner, the different, the minorities. It outlines the life and death consequences of bigotry as well as the angst provoked by the suspicion, resentment, hatred, and xenophobia. Apply by February 1st, 2021.

COVID-19 statement: At Aquilon Music Festival we are committed to abiding by all federal, state, and county public health guidelines. While we are continuing careful preparations for the 2021 summer season, the safety of our participants, faculty and audience is our number one priority. With this in mind, the reopening of the festival in the summer of 2021 will depend entirely on the state of the COVID-19 pandemic.
