The 2026 AAMS Opera International Competition: Deadline approaching!

2026 AAMS International Competition for Voice on Saturday, October 24 at the BPC, Bethesda, MD for all voice types for three divisions: High School, College, and Young Professionals, no age limits.  Apply by October 10th.

·         The repertoire: Two contrasting pieces of any genres of classic, musical theatre, pop, jazz, spiritual no more than 15 minutes (You may precut)

·         It will be a wonderful opportunity to try out prior to NATS Student’s Audition.

·         The selected winners will perform solo, duet, trio at the AAMS Singers’ Concert, Justice Forum, REACH Kennedy Center on Saturday, November 14 at 6:00 pm.  

·         All participants of competition will be performing in Ensemble at the AAMS Singers’ Concert. There will be a small scholarship for the First-place winners for each division.

·         If you cannot attend in-person, you may submit YouTube Unlisted Video link with your application. 

·         The application deadline is Saturday, October 10, 2026, for all divisions.   Upon receipt of the application, we will contact you by E-Mail.
Submit a copy of your current resume and photo (Except last year’s competitors and AAMS program participants).

Application fee: $50 (non-refundable)
