NO APPLICATION FEE: Sarasota Opera Apprentice Artists Auditions DEADLINE EXTENDED through September 8. Sarasota Opera in Florida is accepting applications for its 2018 Apprentice Artists Program (January 8, 2018 through March 25, 2018) for September auditions in Sarasota and New York. The company will perform three works it has never produced before: “Manon Lescaut” (Puccini), “Norma” (Bellini), and “Tiefland” (d’Albert), as well as “Carmen” (Bizet). Apprentices sing chorus and take part in concerts, classes, and coachings and some cover roles. These are paid positions with shared housing in new company facility and airfare provided. Opera Legend Lucine Amara Invites Vocalists Worldwide to Apply Now to the New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera's 29th Annual International Vocal Competition. Early bird deadline: July 31, 2017. Application deadline: October 31, 2017. No Age Limit. A Free master class is offered to all applicants accepted to the preliminary auditions. Three four-hour Free master classes are available to finalists. Feedback and extensive free coaching on language, style and presentation is also provided. Finalists are offered performing opportunities in Verismo Opera's fully staged productions with a live orchestra. All auditions take place in New York City. Upon request, the judges' comments are sent to all preliminary participants and finalists.

London Bel Canto Festival brings Bruce Ford, Nelly Miricioiu, David Parry, K E Querns-Langley and many others together at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in the stunning Royal Naval College of Maritime Greenwich to give a series of courses, private lessons, masterclasses, and concerts. This is a fantastic new opportunity for young singers and emerging artists, giving them the opportunity to work with some of the most respected musicians and artists in the industry. There will be daily singing lessons and vocal coaching. There will be language specialists in Italian, French and German.
