The Nashville Bel Canto Foundation’s Bel Canto Opera Scenes Intensive is a full-tuition scholarship program for emerging opera singers. Selected artists will receive daily coachings, diction sessions, staging rehearsals, and masterclasses, culminating in a public opera scenes performance in one of Nashville’s most beautiful acoustic spaces. La Musica Lirica 2026 - Celebrating 27 years of operatic excellence. The QSVI experience provides each young artist across two separate divisions (High School Divison and Opera Division for College aged and Pre Professional level singers) with a strong foundation of essential tools to excel in the competitive world of vocal performance. Emerging Artist roles are double cast, and all perform in two full, fully staged productions with a professional orchestra. Studio Artists are featured in children’s opera outreach performances and fully on the main stage. An immersion into the techniques and traditions of bel canto repertoire, as seen through Italian language and culture.

The 54th Annual George and Nora London Foundation for Singers Vocal Competition Deadline is fast approaching.  Applications being accepted through January 9 - Apply Now! Started in 1971, the George and Nora London Foundation competition is one of the oldest and most prestigious vocal competitions providing awards to young American and Canadian opera singers at the beginning of their careers. Winners receive significant financial awards and the chance to perform in front of influential figures in the opera community. This competition is a vital part of the foundation's mission to nurture and support the next generation of opera stars. Up to five singers are awarded the coveted George London Award, each receiving $12,000.
