A uniquely designed 8-week program for the pre-professional classical vocalist who is looking to refine their skills in role preparation and presentation. Innovation is the name of the game for us in this digital age. So too, did Kurt Weill, Langston Hughes, and Elmer Rice innovate in 1946 when they collaborated to write the extraordinary American opera, STREET SCENE. With the complex, tragic, fun & funny cast of Street Scene as the focus of our Spring Session, guest director, Dan Wallace Miller will take us on a deep-dive into the tools required to build a three-dimensional character within a larger story. Join us at Young Artists of America Classical: Voice -- applications due 3/27/2021 by 11:59 p.m.
