Applications are open for just another 4 weeks for Mascarade Opera, an opera training and performance programme at the Mascarade Opera Foundation in Florence, Italy for exceptionally talented young singers and répétiteurs. With one-to-one coaching and career management, the programme nurtures both artistic growth and industry readiness. Working alongside top opera houses and agencies, artists are able to translate their training into professional performances. Places on the programme are entirely funded with artists receiving tuition, maintenance and accommodation grants equivalent to entry-level salaried positions in the industry. Prague Summer Nights hosts aspiring young opera professionals for 4 weeks of individual coaching & voice lessons in Tábor & Prague with PSN faculty from Juilliard, NEC, Peabody, Oberlin, Northwestern University, U-M, DU & other top schools. Participate in an opera scenes program & performance, a cabaret night and fully staged opera productions of Puccini’s Suor Angelica at the Church of Sts. Simon & Jude, accompanied by a larger PSN chamber ensemble, and Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte & Don Giovanni in the Estates Theatre, accompanied by the full PSN orchestra. Solti-Peretti Repetiteur Course: Pianists who are interested in developing their skills as opera répétiteurs/coaches are invited to apply for the Georg Solti Accademia's 2026 Solti-Peretti Répétiteur Course, which takes place at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice, Italy. The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (FWSO) announces an opening for a one-year position as Assistant Conductor. The successful candidate will assist Robert Spano, FWSO Music Director and serve as cover conductor for the Music Director, Pops conductors, and guest conductors for all orchestra services. The Assistant Conductor will lead education, family, and community concerts in addition to other conducting and administrative duties as specified by the Music Director and Artistic Operations department.

The Lotte Lenya Competition, the one-of-kind contest for singing actors across the entire lyric theater spectrum, returns for its 28th year!
