Happy Halloween everyone! Want a real treat? Get those applications together in time to enjoy a fun-filled evening without having to head home early. Deadlines today for Virginia Opera, Opera Theater of Pittsburgh and Opera in the Heights. Utah Opera's deadline is tomorrow, followed by Opera New Jersey, Crested Butte Music Festival and Opera Singers Initiative, Ltd. Phew! Plus! we're very pleased to announce that we are now hosting the application for the all-scholarship program, Il Cuore Canta! Avoid the tricks and get your apps in early!

Opera Singers Initiative will be holding auditions November 17 & 18 in New York, and their deadline is just a few weeks away on November 3. See the listing information for more details on this year long training and career development program.

Opera North is accepting applications for this summer for both production and performance roles: applications are open for singers, coach/accompanists, directors, stage managers, costume managers and company interns. Auditions are being scheduled on a rolling basis, so don't miss out by being a last minute applicant! A word to the wise on applying for this popular program: don't let your slot be taken by an earlier bird!

We are thrilled to announce that the application for the Bel Canto at Caramoor Young Artist Program is now open. The deadline to apply is November 17 for New York auditions in early December, but don't wait until the last minute: to get your preferred audition date and time, we strongly recommend you apply early!

We are thrilled to welcome The Liederkranz Foundation Vocal Competition as our newest online application company member. Awards for this competition range from $1500 to upwards of $8,000 in three categories: Opera, Wagner and Art Song/Lieder. Deadline for all divisions is November 15.

Applications for singers and coaches are up for American Singers' Opera Project! Auditions will be held by recording and live in Winston-Salem, NC and Edmond, OK; the deadline is February 15, 2013.
