All artists must submit the online application form, resume, headshot and application fee ($42).
Materials mailed to the company office (other than the fee) may not be reviewed.
No application will be considered unless materials are complete and the $42 fee is received.
All fees are non-refundable.
All submitted materials will be retained by the company.

- Entire introduction to Porgi Amor from Le nozze di Figaro (Bärenreiter)
- The first three pages of Strauss's Dance of the Seven Veils from Salome (Boosey Hawkes)

Program Information

The Marcello Giordani Young Artist Program is an important part of the Crested Butte Music Festival - an internationally recognized festival. CBMF presents a vast array of world-renowned performances including opera, symphony, chamber, jazz, bluegrass and dance.

Program Highlights:
- Attend all coachings and perform in all in-house master classes
- Receive musical and pianistic instruction from the MGYAP staff
- Musical preparation of and performing in children's opera production (rep.  TBD)
- Perform in Scenes Programs
-Assist in the musical preparation of the Young Artists Opera (rep. TBD)
- Coach Young Artists, as needed in all cover roles and perform in the cover run-through of Die Zauberflöte
- Coach Young Artists on scenes, arias and roles as necessary
-Access to all the resort amenities Crested Butte has to offer: including hiking, mountain biking, climing etc.

Compensation

Payment is provided
All accepted Young Artists will receive housing as well as a $300 stipend.
All accepted Young Artists will be considered for two scholarship awards to be awarded at the final performance.
   The Rosalind Jackson Memorial Award, $1000
   The Mike Martin Memorial Award, $1000
