All artists must submit the online application form, resume, headshot and mail in the application fee ($42).
Materials mailed to the company office (other than the fee) may not be reviewed.
No application will be considered unless materials are complete and the $42 fee is received.
All fees are non-refundable.
All submitted materials will be retained by the company.

Program Information
The Opera Young Artist Program is an important part of the Crested Butte Music Festival - an internationally recognized festival. CBMF presents a vast array of world-renowned performances including opera, symphony, chamber, jazz, bluegrass and dance.

Program Highlights:
-Assist the professional directing staff on the mainstage production and Young Artist opera
-Direct selected scenes with the Young Artists
-Direct the Children's Opera, performed by members of the Childrens Opera Chorus
-Attend dance, drama, and masterclasses with the other Young Artists
-Assist as needed in all technical and organizational aspects of production
-Coach Young Artists on scenes and roles as necessary
Compensation
All accepted Young Artists will be considered for two scholarships awards to be awarded at the final performance.
