The program runs Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. All classes/rehearsals/coachings take place in New York City. On most days, the full group will be called from 10 to 3, and the later hours will be devoted to private coachings. Each member will receive a private coaching approximately every second day.
A typical day will include
- Lecture class on bel canto style and performance practice (mostly by Crutchfield)

Work class (Crutchfield, Jonck or Mobbs – group work in masterclass format)

Chorus rehearsal (optional participation)

Rehearsal of mainstage opera (from June 18 onward)
- Private coachings
Caramoor does not provide housing for non-residents of New York City.
Compensation
Young Artist salary: $ 2,950
Optional chorus participation is compensated separately
