Virginia Opera Herndon Foundation Emerging Artists Program (2022-2023): Singers

This application closed on Monday September 20, 2021.

Live, in-person, final-round auditions are currently scheduled to take place in late November. We are continuing to monitor developments surrounding the COVID-19 Delta variant and will notify those invited for these auditions well in advance of any changes to location or venue.

STEP 1: Apply to the program using the YAP Tracker application by Monday, September 20th. This is where you will submit your resume, headshot, references, repertoire selections, and video recording.

STEP 2: You will be notified if you are invited for a second-round video "virtual audition" by Friday, October 1st.

STEP 3: Submit two new video recordings via YAP Tracker by Friday, October 15th.

STEP 4: You will be notified if you are invited for a live, in-person, final-round "callback" audition by Friday, November 5th.

STEP 5: Live, in-person, final-round "callback" auditions for those invited will take place in New York City on either Monday, November 29th or Tuesday, November 30th.
