Please indicate whether you will be sending any supporting material by post to the Auditions Coordinator at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2E 9DD. Such materials could include, but is not limited to, programmes, posters, portfolios, DVDs, reviews or photos of productions staged by the applicant.
These should be from music or theatre professionals, but not your regular (or any previous) teacher. Number of selections required: 2.

Two letters of recommendation must be received by the deadline of Friday 20 January 2017 or the application will be rejected. It is the applicant’s responsibility to contact their referees in plenty of time to ensure they are happy to provide a reference and are able to do so by the deadline. If any of the original referees has not responded a week before the deadline, it is recommended that applicants contact others so that their application can still be completed in time. At this stage, the applicant may add details of up to two further referees to ensure that at least two references are received by the deadline.

Some companies choose to only allow the online submission option. That is the case with this program: you will not be able to upload a pre-written letter. The recommender MUST use the online form to submit their recommendation.

The Royal Opera House is required under the terms of its funding from the Arts Council of England (ACE) to keep records of, and monitor, the diversity of its workforce. It is not part of the selection process and will be separated from the application before it is considered by the selection/audition panel.

Payment Details

There is no application fee for the Programme, however there is an administrative charge of $5 (USD).
