Confidentiality

Please note that personal details included in the Equal Opportunities Monitoring section will not be seen by the panel, and will not affect your application in any way. Likewise, your personal document will not be seen by the panel.

Information about references

After you have submitted your application, the references you have listed below will receive an email with a link to YAP Tracker so that they can upload their reference directly, by the deadline. Please check back to ensure that the two letters have been submitted. If it is getting close to the deadline and they are yet to do so, you can add up to two more references below. Information about recordings

We require recent audio recordings, if possible, presenting three contrasting arias. Please do not upload videos.

The recordings do not need to be of professional quality and is better to include a home-made recording than to miss the deadline trying to arrange a professional recording. We would prefer the recording to include a full single-capture of each aria without editing.

Note: While having a pianist accompany you live is usually standard, we understand that given the current restrictions in place in many countries it might not be possible to record with a live pianist. If singing to a recording, please let us know under 'Details about the audio recordings submitted' so that we are aware of the circumstances.

You will be notified by the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme on the outcome of the selection process by Monday 16 August.

Letters of Recommendation*

Two letters of recommendation must be received by the deadline of Friday 30 July 2021 or the application will not be valid. It is your own responsibility to contact your referees in plenty of time to ensure they are happy to provide a reference and are able to do so by the deadline. If any of the original referees has not responded a week before the deadline, it is recommended that you contact others so that your application can still be completed in time. You will then be able to add details of up to two further referees to ensure that at least two references are received by the deadline.
