Opera Singers Initiative is a dynamic, collaborative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a 12 month mentoring, business and entrepreneurship training, and career development program to emerging professional opera singers. Application:

All applicants must submit an online application, resume, audio clip, and digital headshot. All applicants will be informed if he or she has been selected to audition for Opera Singers Initiative.

Audition Requirements:

Please bring 3 contrasting selections to your audition. All performers are expected to be dressed professionally, bring their resume and headshot, as well as arrive 15 minutes early. Auditions begin promptly.

Audition Criteria:

Opera Singers Initiative selects our members based on the following criteria:

1) Vocal Quality
2) Dramatic Presentation
3) Language Proficiency
4) Material Preparation & Professionalism
5) Motivation & Passion

Audition Details:

Auditions will be held on April 7-8, 2018 at Opera America, 330 7th Avenue, 8th Floor located in New York.
