About Opera Singers Initiative:

Opera Singers Initiative is a dynamic, collaborative 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a 12 month mentoring, business and entrepreneurship training, and career development program to emerging professional opera singers. Application:

All applicants must submit an online application, resume, audio clip, and digital headshot. All applicants will be informed no later than Friday, November 3, 2012 if he or she has been selected to audition for Opera Singers Initiative. 

Audition Requirements:

Please bring 3 contrasting selections to your audition. All performers are expected to be dressed professionally, bring their resume and headshot, as well as arrive 15 minutes early.

Auditions begin promptly.

Audition Criteria:

Opera Singers Initiative selects our members based on the following criteria:

1) Vocal Quality
2) Dramatic Presentation
3) Language Proficiency
4) Material Preparation & Professionalism
5) Motivation & Passion

For members selected to join Opera Singers Initiative, a donation of $195.00 is requested to begin your program. This donation ensures that all performers are fully committed to a full year of training and development.

Full scholarships are available. Please submit a 1 page document describing your career and aspirations to Opera Singers Initiative.
