The Studio Artist Program will feature performances June 26 & 28 of Bound, composed by Huang Ruo and libretto by Bao-Long Chu. Conducted by Lance Inouye and directed by Studio Artist Program Director Richard Gammon. Singers selected also will perform in the mainstage production chorus with opportunities to be cast in supporting roles and cover leading roles in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette (performances on July 23 and 26 in Merrill Auditorium) with Maestro Israel Gursky conducting and under the direction of Dona D. Vaughn. Singers will arrive June 10 to begin rehearsals for the Studio Artist Program on June 11, with departure on July 27 following the Roméo et Juliette production.
