Please tell us how this region has influenced your career path or shaped this particular concert program. Our other mission is to support “artists in transition” – please tell us what that means to you personally. Number of documents required: 1.

Concert Proposal*

Please attach your concert proposal. File should be 1-3 pages, saved as a PDF.

This does not need to be a polished, final version of the complete recital, but we would like to see a clear theme developing throughout. Please include a performance order of sample repertoire with composers cited. You may submit up to three pages total, including any annotations, links, or images that would help us understand your vision. Any of the following elements would be of great interest to our audition panel: Collaborations with a local composer. Thematic connections to Washington, DC. Fundraiser recitals for local charities. Art installations or unusual venues. Repertoire that is “new to you”, outside your regular comfort zone, or stylistically reimagined. (Note: These are NOT required, and your concert proposal may be excellent without them.) Number of documents required: 1.

Video Recordings*

Two video files are required with your application. Please submit unedited recordings.

Recordings may be contrasting pieces from your proposed concert program OR similar repertoire, preferably art song that shows your performance style and abilities.

If you are applying as an ensemble but do not have videos together as a group, please use the first two video submissions to show song work from your primary vocalist(s). Then, you may fill in the supplementary spaces to show work from other collaborators.
