Video

• Video recording of 25-30 minutes in length.
This MUST be a YouTube upload only as a 25-30 minute video file is too large for direct upload.
• The video must contain high Baroque repertoire (composed between 1700 and 1770) of the applicant's choice. The program must include one movement each from two different solo concertos, played by memory, with ensemble or harpsichord accompaniment (orchestral reduction). The program may also include solo and/or chamber music and should demonstrate contrasting styles and affects. The recording of any one movement or other composition must be unedited, although the uploaded 25-30 minutes may include recordings from different performances. The recordings must have been produced after September 15, 2018, preferably from live performances. Applicants must be clearly audible and visible in the video recording. All cash awards are subject to the regulations of the United States tax code.
By submitting this application form, Finalists give Indianapolis Early Music unrestricted rights to record, photograph, film, broadcast over air, by line, and through online and social media, and use in print publications and any not-as-yet developed media, their performances during the Competition, and to assign such rights.
Neither Festival Music Society, dba Indianapolis Early Music, nor IndyBaroque Music, Inc, assumes any responsibility for actions of or injuries sustained by Finalists during their course of stay in the Indianapolis area.
Applications which are incomplete or which do not adhere to the Competition rules will not be eligible for consideration, and the application fee will not be refunded.
