Georg Solti Accademia - Solti-Peretti Repetiteur Course 2023 Application

Pianists who are interested in developing their skills as répétiteurs/coaches are invited to apply for our 2023 Solti-Peretti Répétiteur Course, which takes place at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice, Italy.

To apply, please complete the following application form. You must include with your application two videos of you playing and singing two contrasting operatic excerpts of no more than 10 minutes in total.

Note: Both excerpts must include three or more characters (For example: Mozart, Le nozze di Figaro, Act II Finale; or Puccini, La Bohème, Act 1 opening etc.).

You will also be asked to provide the names, job titles, and contact information for two industry professionals (ie. voice teachers, coaches, conductors, YAP administrators, agents/managers, artistic directors/intendants, etc) who can speak to your professinalism, musical ability, and character.

Selected applicants will be offered a live audition for which they should be prepared to sing & play the excerpts they submitted in their pre-screening videos. Additional tasks will be set and sent to chosen applicants ahead of time. Live auditions will be in London, UK in mid/late January, 2023. Any applicants invited to attend a live audition who are unable to do so will be offered the opportunity to audition online.

Be sure to sing-in the appropriate vocal lines while you are playing. Each excerpt should be no more than 5 minutes in length. Number of selections required: 2.
