If appropriate, one should be from the 2019 repertoire. You should also have a musical theatre piece ready. Major understudies and minor roles for Madama Butterfly and Billy Budd will be cast from these auditions. Lead role for The Blessed Damozel will also be cast. Number of selections required: 4.

Releases during the period of June 3 – August 4, 2019 will not be granted. Anyone submitting an application will be considered for both of Central City Opera's Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Apprentice and Studio Artist Training Programs. Central City Opera's Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Apprentice and Studio Artist Training Programs are limited to citizens of the United States and foreign aliens holding permanent resident status or requisite working/training visas. According to our AGMA agreement, no person may have an apprenticeship for more than two seasons; this, however, does not affect singers in the Studio Artist Program.
