The Handel Aria Competition encourages singers of all voice types to explore the repertoire of Handel. The preliminary recording round is due by midnight on April 1, 2018. The final round will take place on Friday June 8, 2018 at 7:30 in Mills Concert Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Mead Witter School of Music.

Rehearsals will take place in Mills Concert Hall on Thursday, June 7 Dress rehearsal on Friday, June 8
The finals will be heard by panel of three judges in an performance open to the public in the Mills Concert Hall of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Mead Witter School of Music.
Prize winners will be announced at the end of the evening.
Harpsichord & String Quartet Accompaniment
The Madison Bach Musicians will provide harpsichord and string quartet accompaniment for the final round. Competition pitch is A=415 Hz.
Finalists will be given up to $500 for travel to Madison. (limited to actual expense.)
Home stays will be available for out-of-town finalists.
Finalists will be responsible for their own food expenses.
