VOCAL ACADEMY OF ORVIETO: Preparing the singer of the 21st Century

2020 SEASON: "Don Giovanni"- Mozart & "Prima la musica e poi le parole"- Salieri, fully staged with professional, chamber orchestra. In addition to concerts, cabarets and recitals. 

The VOCAL ACADEMY OF ORVIETO is an intentionally space-limited lyric training and performance festival offering fully staged roles with professional chamber orchestra, all performances & concerts in important historical venues, published reviews, private voice lessons/coachings, conductor coaching, Italian instruction, yoga, recitative training with Italian faculty, and acting.  In an intimate setting where faculty and students dine together for breakfast and dinner.

KEY FEATURES: Perform roles with orchestra, dramatic preparation, Feldenkrais postural training, conversation groups, career lectures, acting. Located in prestigious Orvieto just an hour north of Rome. Faculty includes Jim Meredith~pianist of Frederika von Stade, Hugo Vera~Metropolitan Opera tenor, Marco Bellussi~stage director,Teatro la Fenice, Maestro Raffaele Cipriano~Sarasota Opera, Marie Te Hapuku, Metropolitan Opera.
