Create an opportunity
Getting started:
Before creating an opportunity, your account must be associated with at least one company. Please see the box on the right hand side of this page for a list of companies with which you are associated. If you need to be associated with a new or different company, please email help@yaptracker.com with the details.
To create an opportunity:
- Visit the Manage Opportunities page or click Manage Opportunities from the Company Tools menu
- Click the Create link on the right hand side of the page
- Complete the opportunity form, filling out as many details as possible
- Click the Save as Draft button to edit later before publishing
- Click the Save and Publish button to request the opportunity be made available to our members
Once your opportunity has been submitted for publishing, it will be reviewed by YAP Tracker staff and published on the site.
Guidelines
YAP Tracker manages over 2,500 opportunities each season, so we ask that companies adhere to a few specific guidelines:
- YAP Tracker requests that companies provide a minimum of two weeks notice before a deadline or at least three weeks notice before audition dates when posting your auditions. Many members of our site only receive alerts once per week, so if you provide less notice, many potential applicants may not receive notification until after your opportunity has passed.
- Each company is allowed one listing per opportunity type per season. If you extend a deadline, add audition dates, add production announcements, etc. this guideline still applies. Please contact us if you would like to update your listing. Please do not create a new listing.
- Please complete the form with as much information as possible. This will help avoid delays in posting your opportunity.
- We ask that companies who are just using our listing service maintain one company account and one contact for all correspondence.
