Studio Artist Program Designed for young singers who want to build their technical abilities and repertoire with a maximum of individualized attention. Generally entering college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. *Entering high-school seniors over 18 who demonstrate significant promise for a professional career in classical music may be accepted in exceptional cases.

Young Artist Program Designed for singers who have a solid technical basis which allows them to focus on interpretation and text expression. Young Artists will receive weekly private coachings, voice lessons, and participate in master classes and concerts. Generally singers who are entering seniors or beginning graduate studies.

Professional Program Designed for advanced singers prepared to work at a professional level with our senior faculty in public master classes, private coachings, and performances.

Pianist Program For pianists with a special interest in vocal collaboration. Pianists receive coachings, weekly master class performances, concert performances, and pianist specific classes and meetings with senior faculty members.

Audition Selections*

Studio Artist Singers: Prepare two art songs in two different languages and an aria (aria is optional for Studio Artist program). Applicants are encouraged to include a song in English as part of their selections. Optional: you may prepare a fourth selection that highlights a special interest: (musical theater, oratorio, new-music, etc.)

Young Artist & Professional Singers: Prepare three art songs in three different languages and an aria. Applicants are encouraged to include a song in English as part of their selections. Optional: you may prepare a fifth selection that highlights a special interest: (musical theater, oratorio, new-music, aria etc.)

Pianists: Prepare four selections – two art songs in contrasting style and two other works of your choice - arias or additional songs; one of these may be a solo work. Minimum number of selections permitted: 3. Maximum number of selections permitted: 5

Fee Disclosure and Signature

A non-refundable $500 housing or commuter fee deposit (which will be credited to the balance of fees) is due two weeks after acceptance into the program. Housing/meal costs are due in full by March 15th; tuition is due in full by April 8th. A partial refund of $1000 will be given on housing/meals if notified IN WRITING and received by April 1st. After April 1st, no refunds will be given for any reason on any portion of the fees (tuition, housing/meals), including the non refundable $500 deposit.
