Pre-screening Video/Audio Requirements

To be considered for a live audition, all applicants must submit two files, one of which must be video (we recommend uploading your video onto YouTube and sending us the unpublished link), and must be a collaborations with a singer. Your choices should be from the standard aria and song repertoire and should be contrasting works. Submitted files should be unedited.

Live Audition Preferences

Auditions will be held in London on Sunday 18 September 2022.

Musical Authority References

You must have two references from music professionals. This may include your current/recent teacher and other established music professionals with whom you have regularly worked (e.g. coach, conductor, director). It is your own responsibility to contact your referees in plenty of time to ensure they are happy to provide a reference should we contact them. They do not need to write a letter or fill out an online form. Spouse, relatives and agents may not serve as musical authority references.

Application Conditions

By applying, applicant agrees to abide by these conditions and agrees not to make any claim against Samling Institute or Samling Artist Programme regarding auditions and all aspects of the audition process. Decisions of the audition panel are final.

Payment Details

100% of your application fee is used to partially cover the costs of this application process – including screening and providing audition pianists and singers.
