ADDITIONAL INFORMATION!

The meeting time and place for all the registered candidates will be 14^th November at 9:00 at Security Access of Palau de les Arts.

At your arrival, we will explain you the rules and procedure of the audition. The auditions will start at 10:00

In the morning, all candidates will undergo the FIRST ROUND, which will be disqualifying and will consist of part A.

In the afternoon, the selected candidates will undergo the SECOND ROUND, which will consist of parts B, C,D and E.

According to the call, the different parts are:

a) Playing (and singing in the vocal lines) one of the following excerpts, chosen by the jury among the following:

- Finale No. 24 of Act II of Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart "Già la Mensa è prepata ..."

- Act I of La Bohème by G. Puccini, from the beginning to the entrance of Benoit

- Act III of Der Rosenkavalier by R. Strauss, from essay No. 284 'Marie Theres'! Hab 'mir's gelobt, ihn lieb zu haben… ”until the end of the opera.

b) Playing and working with a singer on the performance and development of an aria chosen by the jury among the following:

1. “Voi che sapete” – Le nozze di Figaro - W. A. Mozart

2. “L’amour est un oiseau rebelle” – Carmen – G. Bizet

3. “Und was bekam des Soldaten Weib” – K. Weill

4. “O Isis und Osiris” – Die Zauberflöte – W. A. Mozart

5. “Despierta, negro” – La tabernera del puerto – P. Sorozábal.

6. “I hear an army” – Three songs, op. 10 Nº 3, in A Minor – S. Barber

c) Sight-reading.

d) Following a conductor’s beat in any of the pieces from sections a) and b).

e) Personal interview.

The audition will take place at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, Avenida del Professor López Piñero (Historiador de la medicina), 1 – València (Spain).

If the audition process was not finished on the 14^th November, it would continue on the 15^thNovember.
